The Beginning Fall 2007

I began teaching in August 2007 for Crossett Elementary. It had been three years since I had been in school myself, other than the Non-Traditional Licensing classes I had that summer. Needless to say, I was a little freaked out. :) With the help of our multi-talented Librarian (who had filled in as art teacher the two years prior to my arrival) I got started.(Thank you Holly!) I had a lot of support from my principal and the classroom teachers, which was a blessing. My classroom was quite sad at first...until I got some student artwork up. Actually...compared to this year...It was really sad. These pictures are from within the first month of school, before any artwork was hung.
