So much to do...how do I fit it all in?

Oh, the end of school is finally really in sight! Yay! I don't know why I get so excited for the end of school, I guess the kids craziness makes me go stir crazy myself! There is so much to think about for the end of school...supplies for next year, new centers to try out when we come back, using the new frameworks.

There is also going home for the summer...yes, I still go to Mom and Dad's for the summer! haha I'm super excited to go and have time to work on all the art projects I have rolling around in my head! I'm hoping I have time and space to do it! I know I need to get a job to pay for running around...and art supplies! : ) I have loved printmaking since college and I am trying to get back into it so I have been searching for decent prices on printmaking supplies. (I'm even looking in my art supply catalogs and it still gets pricey!) I'm hoping that if this venture works out, maybe I can actually start selling things! Then there is also the crochet I need to catch up on, as well as some batik to play with, and hopefully some drawing...so much to do! I'm thinking that if I don't go anywhere or do anything, maybe I won't need a job and can just do artwork all summer! (HA! Not likely.) I think I have enough stuff to keep me occupied and supplied if I just stick with it and don't buy anything new! (Note to self...unsubscribe from Hobby Lobby and Michael's emails!)

I'm hoping with beginning to create artwork again I will be more creative in the classroom and have more insight for my students! I would like to have a studio room for myself someday! Really, I would like to be settled in one place, close to home so I can go visit for the day...not the weekend or summer! And then start thinking about a studio!

  1. Trice...I know of an awesome place you could stay for the summer and see the most amazing sculptures and paintins! All you need to do is drum up about $600 for airfare and you're there! (Or should I say, HERE!?) :)
